Aaannnnnd Now...
Bulls fans, this next couple weeks will determine what the 2010-11 campaign will look like. As the Tom Thibodeau era begins today, tomorrow's draft, and the July 1st free agency rush gets underway, Chicago Bulls fans will get a very real look at what kind of front office is in this city. Judging by a couple past decisions, I'm not placing them on a very high pedestal among the league's better front offices. But, with the amount of talent available in this free agency pool and the potential this team holds, someone has to land here.....right? Tune in to Last Call Sports tomorrow night as we will be live on the air during the NBA draft from 7 to 9 on sportstownchicago.com

Don't Look Now...
If only the White Sox could play the National League all year. The Sox took two of three from the Cubs, swept the Pirates, and have taken the first two from the Washington Nationals. I credit the complete 180 the starting pitching has done over the last couple weeks. Everyone in the rotation and the pen have contributed. Mark Buehrle also set the record for most wins in interleague play by a starting pitcher when he picked up his 22nd win against the Pirates. Ozzie Guillen said this is how they envisioned the season to go from the start; unfortunately, the first month and a half was a bit rocky. The next couple weeks should be interesting, because this stretch of the season leading up to the All-Star break should be the determinant as to whether the Sox will be buyers or sellers. Hopefully they can make it interesting like they usually do so this town has some positive baseball news to talk about.
